Adds a button/tile to the quick settings panel to take screenshots. After install you need to add the button/tile to your quick settings and then grant the permissions to record screen captures and save images to the internal storage. ✓ Take screenshots from the quick settings ✓ No root required ✓ Notification after a screenshot was taken (can be disabled) ✓ Immediately share, edit or delete a screenshot from the notification ✓ Edit the screenshot with the included image editor ✓ Floating button/Overlay button like a chat bubble (Android 9+) ✓ Use as assist app to take a screenshot (long-press the Home button) ✓ Only take screenshot of a specific area of the screen (long-press the tile) ✓ Delay taking a screenshot ✓ Store in any folder on any storage e.g. sd card ✓ Store in different file formats: png, jpg or webp ✓ Take automatic screenshots with apps like Tasker or MacroDroid ✓ Free, open-source, no advertising This is a fork of "Screenshot Tile [Root]" but it does not require root. Source code: Original app: Open Source license is GNU GPLv3 🎦 When you take a screenshot, the will appear in the status bar and it will be visible in the screenshot image. If you want to hide the icon, there is an explanation here: ❏ This is required to save the screenshot files on the internal storage of your device. ❏ Since Android 9/Pie this permission is required to take screenshots. It basically means that this app can run without showing itself. However the app will always show a notification when it is running. If you want to automate screenshots from another app, e.g. MacroDroid or Tasker, you can find a step-by-step guide here: In the app settings you can hide the app icon from your launcher. You can still access the app by long pressing the tile in your quick settings. Unfortunately, Android 10 does not allow hiding an app anymore. If there is a problem or you want to help translate this app into your language, please contact me on , or contribute a translation on This app can access the which allows this app to record the screen. It now works on one device. On a second device (Pixel4 O.S. 11) it won't place an icon in the quick settings (which is all I want it for). I don't know if any of the other functions work or not.

Perfect! 👍 Works on my samsung android 10. Lets you add a screenshot icon to the quick panel. Must use q.p edit settings to add it, icon doesnt appear automatically.

Ridiculously bad app. Totally useless.....Tried to take some screenshots and got nothing but blank images...If it even got that far....Waste of time. Now the developer is repeatedly contacting me. You can stop, I've moved on. Developers suggests I use the app's native method, which might work. Okay, but then, who needs this app?

Like taking shots from notification screen instead of moving annoying floating button around! Needs *option* to: 1) Rename without pulling pic back up. 2) Option to number pics 1, 2, 3 etc with option to re-set to #1 (no other name but #'s). Current numbers are NOT consecutive, & need to be. 3) Option to vibrate instead of the fading notification of a pic taken.

Hi I am not sure why but neither method for enabling this tile works on Android 10 on the LG ThinQ line. May not be this app ... LG somehow tied normal screenshot function to LG App QuickMemo+ which requires several clicks to just save the shot in the gallery. There is an existing tile called Capture but it is annoying so I thought a third party app might offer a simple Printscreen like function but nope.

Works, but takes too long to pull down notification bar twice to get to button; Useless for quick capture in PoGO. Needs overlay trigger button.

Easiest screenshot app I've come across. Puts it right in your tiles on top menu where you're wifi, Bluetooth, etc are.. one tap and boom, screenshot taken

Worked fine until I installed Android 11. Couldn't install. Failed on install.

This is sooo good!! But when I have to screenshot I have to open it and screenshot it that's the thing I don't like but it's a good app!

What's not to like: compact, open-source, transparent etc! 3 finger swipe-down would be best. But quick settings tile, and bonus tile for batch shots, is the next best thing by far. (You gotta love the retro user guide btw which tells you everything, in a nutshell).
